Train trip to Deajeon

We decided to take a trip on the bullet train, and chose the town of Daejeon, about an hour's ride (at 300 km/hr). It was a cold and rainy day, and we thought it would be a good way to see the countryside from a nice warm train. We were right, and it was a great trip. The KTX (bullet train) is very comfortable and plush. We spent some time walking around Daejeon when we got there, then found a very good restaurant and had lunch. We took the "regular" train back, which took a slightly different route and a couple of hours.
